I like large print and I cannot lie: The dog days of summer

August 25, 2017

The dog days of summer are upon us and Geauga County Public Library Chardon Branch is ready with a Large Print display celebrating our canine friends.

The display features non-fiction stories of our furry friends and their adventures, such as Travels with Casey, by Benoit Denizet-Lewis and Boomer’s Bucket List, by Sue Pethick.

Also included are non-fiction stories about the lessons dogs teach us, such as Weekends with Daisy, by Sharron Kahn Luttrell and Will’s Red Coat, by Tom Ryan.

You can also find popular fiction stories featuring dogs such as the Andy Carpenter series by David Rosenfelt and the Melanie Travis series by Laurien Berenson.

And not to forget our working dogs, check out Top Dog, the story of a Marine Hero Lucca by Maria Goodavage.

The best part is all are available in Large Print!

Christine Peace is an Adult Services Assistant at the Chardon Branch. She is currently reading Four Seasons in Rome by Anthony Doerr.
