From Colleen:

A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline is my staff pick. This is a quiet, thoughtful masterpiece about the lonely life of a woman who struggles with an isolating disability and her complicated relationships with family members, as well as the American artist Andrew Wyeth who visits her family homestead. Wyeth was inspired by Christina’s quiet strength and resilience, and captured all of this in his iconic painting, Christina’s World, which I was lucky enough to see at MOMA once upon a time.
Available in the following formats:
Print
Large Print
eBook
Audiobook (CD) (Download/stream)

From Michelle:

I would love to recommend Predator by Terri Blackstock. It is an inspirational fiction book that delves into the tragedy that can occur from sharing too much private information on social media websites. The ending was kind of silly, but I enjoyed trying to guess who the killer was and it has definitely made me think twice before hitting the ‘post’ button while visiting Facebook.
Available in the following formats:
Print
eBook
Audiobook (CD) (Download/stream: Overdrive / Hoopla)
