The Plant Lover’s Guide to Snowdrops by Naomi Slade

Learn everything you didn’t know that you wanted to know about spring blooming flower bulbs called snowdrops. The book has beautiful pictures, great stories, gardening advice, and delightful histories. What more could you ask for in a book about a tiny spring flower?

I heartily recommend this book to anyone who likes to garden or would rather armchair garden. In fact, I love the entire series of books that start with “The plant lover’s guide to” such flowers as tulips, sedums, and salvias.  Each book is written by an expert on that specific plant in association with Kew Royal Botanical Gardens. Yes, they are British, but they still apply to American gardens. They are such wonderful books!

By the way, save the date of Saturday, September 29, 2018 for the perennial exchange at the GCPL Chardon Branch. We would love to see you there!
