Between You and Me is a great book for lovers of Amish fiction. One of the main characters, Caleb Stoltz, is a young man who had left the Amish community, but returned to raise his orphaned niece and nephew. Caleb’s nephew, Jonah, is seriously injured in a farming accident and Caleb is forced to enter the English world to seek treatment for Jonah. There he meets Dr. Reese Powell, a young doctor planning to enter the medical dynasty created by her successful physician parents. Both Caleb and Reese are young people struggling with meeting family expectations while trying to follow their own dreams and exploring the possibility of a relationship between them. Between You and Me is a poignant story of community, faith, disappointments, hopes and dreams.
