Staff book review by Chris Gumal

December 21, 2018

When most of us here at the library came across this book, many of us thought, “What job could be better than this? Exploring so many unique and beautiful places with your dog/best friend, taking all these phenomenal photos, and getting them published in a book of your own?” I guess we would just have to settle for the second best job of being inundated by this and so many other fantastic books at the library, lol.

Find Momo is a photography book of a super-adorable, black-and-white border collie (can I take him home?) who is simply brilliant at hiding! Momo travels all over with his favorite buddy – author Andrew Knapp, who proceeded to capture images of Momo in various locations but with a special twist – Momo is stealthily camouflaged in every single photo! Oh, what fun you will have by yourself or with your dog-loving family, from parents and spouse to children of all ages, attempting to pinpoint him (I certainly did!). Find Momo is an absolutely delightful book!

If you cannot get enough of Momo, we also have the sequel – Find Momo Coast to Coast and Let’s Find Momo (the photos from this third collaboration are featured in a board book that is just perfect for our littlest ones). Borrow one or all today and have fun finding Momo!

Favorite book: Anything by Ilona Andrews at the moment, looking forward to Magic Triumphs (Book #10 in the Kate Daniels series) by Ilona Andrews next.
