About
Located on East High Street Road and in the heart of Middlefield, Geauga County Public Library’s Middlefield Branch offers a wide array of services to the Middlefield community. Remodeled in 2019, the branch is home to Library’s Mobile Services department, four meeting and study rooms, a Digital Legacy Lab, a drive-thru service window, and an expansive collection of books, movies, and CDs.
Digital Legacy Lab
Geauga County Public Library’s Digital Legacy Labs are creative, collaborative, and educational spaces that provide access to advanced software, technologies, and equipment used to convert analog materials and memories to digital files. Available equipment at the Middlefield Branch include:

- Auto Feeder Scanner
- Cassette Tape Scanner
- Camcorder Conversion
- Live Audio Recording
- Flatbed Scanner
- VHS & DVD Converter
- Vinyl Record Converter
- Slides & Negatives Scanner
Mobile Services
Geauga County Public Library’s Mobile Services, housed in the Middlefield Branch, is where we take the Library on the road and to your door. The Library maintains two Mobile Service vehicles –the Fun Bus and Bookmobile– which are used to serve Geauga County’s rural patrons in and around the surrounding areas of Middlefield.
