Geauga County Public Library is thrilled to announce its success in securing a grant from the Mellon Foundation, totaling $250,000. This grant is a testament to the library’s commitment to advancing knowledge, fostering community engagement, and supporting initiatives that promote learning and cultural enrichment.
“We are thrilled and grateful to the Mellon Foundation for their generous support,” said Kris Carroll, Director of Geauga County Public Library. “This grant will empower us to enhance our Digital Legacy Lab resources.”
With the Mellon Foundation grant, Geauga County Public Library plans to use the grant according to the grant guidelines and usage over 48 months, hiring a full-time Digitization Specialist for three years, replacing, and expanding the Digital Legacy Lab (DLL) equipment at each branch.
