Chardon Branch
About
Located on the Chardon Square, Geauga County Public Library’s Chardon Branch offers a wide array of services to the Chardon community. First established in 1970, the branch is home to the Anderson Allyn Room, the county’s largest collection of family and local history materials, three meeting and study spaces, and a Digital Legacy Lab.
Building the Future
In 2017, Geauga County voters passed a $24 million bond issue to improve Geauga County Public Library’s facilities. The Library’s Board of Trustees and Administrative Department are now directing their focus to improving library facilities and services for the Chardon Branch and community. Stay up to date on the new build by visiting our Chardon Branch News webpage.
Digital Legacy Lab
Geauga County Public Library’s Digital Legacy Labs are creative, collaborative, and educational spaces that provide access to advanced software, technologies, and equipment used to convert analog materials and memories to digital files.
Family & Local History
The Anderson Allyn Room is where you can find the Library’s Family & Local History department and the county’s largest collection of local and family history documents. Here you can trace your family’s lineage and explore our community’s history and legacy.
