Geauga County Public Library’s 2025 Summer Reading is officially here! Are you ready to take the challenge? From June 1 – July 31, track your reading and lifelong learning activities to earn great prizes all summer long. Registration begins May 12 and can be completed via Beanstack or by visiting your local branch to get started.

How to Play

Summer Reading knows no age. This year’s challenge is broken into three categories based on age and grade level.

  • Children (Ages 0-12 // Birth – Grade 5)
  • Teens (Ages 12-18 // Grade 6-12)
  • Adults (Ages 18+)
  • Participation varies based on category of participant. For children, participants can earn weekly prizes and entries into the grand prize drawing by completing five activities in the Library’s Summer Reading activity log. For teens and adults, participants can earn entries into the weekly and grand prize drawings for each book they read. Completed activity and reading logs must be entered via Beanstack or submitted at your local branch to be included this year’s prize drawings.

    To earn a weekly prize and an entry into the grand prize drawing, participants must complete 5 activities in their activity logs. Participants are limited to 1 weekly prize and 1 grand prize entry each week.

    Grand Prize

    Teens

    Instructions

    For each book read, teens will be entered into both a weekly prize drawing and the grand prize drawing. There is no limit to how many books can be read and entered into the drawings.

    Weekly Drawings

    Each branch will have a weekly prize drawing, with the prize being equal to a $10 gift card. The type of gift card awarded will be determined by branch staff and unique to each branch.
