Summer Reading
Stars & Stories
Geauga County Public Library’s 2026 Summer Reading is officially here! Are you ready to take the challenge? From June 1 – July 31, track your reading and lifelong learning activities to earn great prizes all summer long.
How to Play
Summer Reading knows no age. This year’s challenge is separated into three categories based on age and grade level.
- Children (Ages 0-12 or Birth-Grade 5)
- Teens (Ages 12-18 or Grade 6-12)
- Adults (Ages 18+)
Participation varies based on category of participant. For children, participants can earn weekly prizes and entries into the grand prize drawing by completing five activities in their weekly activity log. For teens and adults, participants can earn entries into the weekly and grand prize drawings for each book they read. Completed activity and reading logs can be entered in our Summer Reading: Stars & Stories form or submitted at your local branch.
