The Geauga County Library Foundation will celebrate the launch if its new volunteer organization with a Party with the Partners event on Saturday, October 2, from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Geauga County Public Library’s Administrative Center at 12701 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon.
The Party with the Partners free event will include music, food, snow cones, popcorn, body painting, tours of the Administration Center, and more. Anyone that signs up to become a Partner on October 2 at the Administrative Center or any Geauga County Public Library Branches will receive a free T-shirt while supplies last.
Partners of the Geauga County Library Foundation are library champions who actively love and support Geauga County Public Library. Partners are library ambassadors, volunteers, and people who champion Geauga County Public Library at every turn. Volunteer opportunities exist for all ages, abilities, and commitment levels. Processing donated materials, working book sales, helping with events, community outreach, and fundraising are just some of the projects that volunteers can engage with to help Geauga County Public Library.
There are no set dues to be a Partner of Geauga County Library Foundation, but donations in any amount are appreciated. Geauga County Library Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that solely supports Geauga County Public Library.
