Library to Close on April 8, 2024

Geauga County Public Library Announces the Temporary Closure of its Libraries and the Cancellation of All Scheduled Programs on April 8, 2024.

Geauga County – March 18, 2024 – This decision is made in response the anticipated influx of visitors to Geauga County since roadways may be extremely busy surrounding the highly anticipated eclipse event.

The decision to close the library and cancel programs aligns with guidance from local authorities and experts, who emphasize the importance of exercising caution during celestial events such as the eclipse.

Regular library operations and program schedules will resume the following business day. The Geauga County Public Library extends its gratitude to the community for their understanding and cooperation during this unique occasion.
