Press Release
Warm up with a good book (or two) this winter! Geauga County Public Library’s Winter Reading Program will start January 1 and last until February 28. Patrons of all ages can participate online via Beanstack or with paper entries returned at the branches. We have three different age ranges:
Children (Ages 0-12 // Birth-Grade 5)
Participants will complete five activities per week to earn one entry into the grand prize drawing. Any child who turns in a complete activity log between February 3 – February 9 receives a small prize.
Teens (Ages 12-18 // Grades 6-12)
Participants will turn in a completed log for every book read. Every log entered is another chance to win the grand prize drawing.
Adults (Ages 18+)
Participants will turn in a completed log for every book read. Adults can complete as many entries as books read.
The more you read, the more chances you have to win! Track your progress with paper entries, or use Beanstack on the web or the Beanstack app to enter logs virtually. There will be a grand prize for each age group at each branch. Prize drawings will be the second week of March. For more information, please contact your local branch or view our Winter Reading Program webpage.
