Press Release
The Geauga County Library Foundation, in partnership with the Geauga County Public Library, is pleased to announce the return of the Winter Wonderland of Trees fundraiser for its second year. This annual event invites community members to sponsor, decorate, and bid on patron-decorated Christmas trees, with all proceeds benefiting the Foundation’s mission to support youth literacy, lifelong learning, and community engagement throughout Geauga County.
This year, the Winter Wonderland of Trees Auction will open today, Monday, November 17, and come to a close in three weeks, on Friday, December 5. The auction will primarily take place online via Give Butter, accessible at givebutter.com or scanning the QR code displayed next to each tree. A limited number of trees will also be available for in-person bidding at the library’s Bainbridge, Chardon, Geauga West, and Middlefield branches. Decorated trees will be on display throughout the auction period, where interested patrons can view them before placing their bid. Winning bids will be finalized on December 5, and all winners will be contacted directly.
